101 Things I wanna do before I die

(photo from Munwhailbo) 1. Travel

Abiosis. It stinks:< Then, I take out my world map spontaneously and exuberate into the encyclopedia about the world around me. How massive! How fascinating! I'm a lot interested in diverse culture and its people... I'm also interested in my culture(which I cherish and admire much). I respect all the relative and precious values in many cultures... I've never been abroad except for Japan. That's what makes me wonder much more about the world...

By the way, I read three books written by the Korean woman (photo left). She traveled over 60 countries by land. Oh my Gosh! Something I've never dreamed of. The world travel. The stories of humane people across the world, of her journey captivated Korean readers. And her books became bestseller undoubtedly. I was also fascinated by her story.

Someday, yeah, perhaps someday, I'll travel both inside and outside of my country.

When I was young, my parents loved to go travelling with me and my sisters, also my grandma in my country. It was awesome as I look back.

Personal thoughts on the Orient where I come from

Lovers under the moon. Son yun-bok. (ca. 18th century) Yi period.

We easily divide the world into two categories:

The Orient and the Western.

The truth is we hold up the sky all together.

Good points from both sides. Good values from the western. Good values from the eastern. The harmony.

Zen, mentality and spirituality-oriented, Family ties etc. That cannot tell ALL about the eastern culture. Never. ONLY part of it.

Don't you think it's insolent to comment the word 'priority' or 'superiority' when we talk about the culture thing?
